How to get more clicks on your ads

I was wondering how to get more clicks and did a bit of reading..
Some people say you should limit the amount of links you have off your site, so they will click on the ads.
Others say, you should just make the ads very relevant to the content of your site, and put them in places that are easily seen.
Does anyone else have advice on how to get more clicks on your ads?

First of all you need to get lots of traffic. Try www.wherecaniadvertise.com to help with that. Then once you get traffic to the site, as you said, you need to limit the number of links you have off the page, so people will see the ad links, it is also useful to blend the ad links in with the same color co-ordination of your other links.
